Artist's Comments

So finally, after months of sitting around in the 'work in progress' phases, I finished this! Once again, the photo is not fantastic and I may well re-upload this when I work out how to photo paintings well.

This is also FOR SALE! I have no idea what to ask for it right now, so feel free to make an offer if you're interested. It's a 23x46 cm original oils on board painting:)

The wonderful reference photograph for this was taken by ~KristineKreations, check her out!

To do the link thing just cut and paste the address of her picture from the address bar into your comment, DA then converts that WWW.... to a link when it saves your message

The true sign of a pro is not that they never make a mistake but how they hide them....
Very beautiful, you picked a pose that was very difficult to do and you pulled it off!

Wow! This is very good! The angle and the proportion of the horse must have been hard to do. I would never get it right! But the painting its self is fantastic too. Good use of colour to get the hard shade of palomino (slightly chestnut) that you have here.
